Privacy Policy

Collection and Use of Personal Information

In order to provide photography services, the Photographer may collect certain personal information from the Client, including but not limited to the Client’s name, contact information, event details, and any other relevant data required for the session. This information will be used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the terms of this Agreement, communicating with the Client, and delivering the final photographs. The Photographer will not share or sell the Client's personal information to third parties without explicit consent unless required by law.

Storage and Security of Personal Data

The Photographer will make reasonable efforts to store and secure any personal data or files related to the Client’s photography session. All physical and electronic records will be stored in a safe and secure manner. Photographs, personal information, and any other data related to the session will be retained for a period of time necessary for business purposes (e.g., for reshoots, reprints, or in case the Client requests access to the images). However, the Photographer is not responsible for any third-party breach of security (e.g., via email, social media, or cloud storage providers).

Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

The Photographer may use third-party services (e.g., cloud storage, image delivery platforms, print labs, etc.) to store or deliver images to the Client. These third-party services may have their own privacy policies regarding the handling of personal data and images. The Photographer will ensure that these third parties are reputable and take reasonable steps to protect the Client's privacy, but the Client acknowledges and accepts that the Photographer cannot be held responsible for the privacy practices of such third-party services.

Image Storage and Retention

The Photographer may store final images for a period of up to [12 months] after the completion of the session. After this period, the Photographer may delete or archive the images, but cannot guarantee their continued availability. The Client is encouraged to download, back up, and store the images on personal devices within a reasonable timeframe. The Photographer is not responsible for any loss of images after this time period.

Confidentiality of Event Details

The Photographer understands the importance of privacy and will make reasonable efforts to keep event details confidential. This includes, but is not limited to, the location, time, and nature of private events such as weddings, parties, or corporate gatherings. However, the Photographer reserves the right to use event images for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Consent for Photographing and Sharing

By entering into this Agreement, the Client acknowledges and grants the Photographer permission to take photographs during the session and use these images for the purposes outlined in the Artistic Release section (including but not limited to portfolio, marketing, and promotional use). The Photographer will respect the Client’s request for privacy if the Client explicitly indicates that certain photographs or information should not be shared publicly. The Client may request the removal of images from public platforms at any time, and the Photographer will make reasonable efforts to comply with such requests.

Data Retention and Deletion Requests

If the Client wishes to request the deletion or removal of their personal data or images, they may contact the Photographer directly. The Photographer will comply with the request within a reasonable time frame, provided that the request does not conflict with any legal obligations, such as retaining data for tax or accounting purposes

Gift Card Terms & Conditions

Please read the following information before purchasing or redeeming a Snapsbyleigha gift card.

How to redeem your gift card

To book a photography session using a gift card, please send me:

  • A clear photograph of your gift card
  • The name of the person who purchased the gift card
  • The package or session you would like to book
  • Your preferred date(s), subject to availability

If your gift card was won as part of a giveaway, raffle or competition, please send a photograph of the gift card along with the name of the organisation, business or event through which you won the gift card, so that the prize can be verified.

Your gift card must be verified before your booking can be confirmed.

What can my gift card be used for?

Gift cards can be used towards:

  • Standard photography packages
  • Mini sessions
  • Seasonal sessions
  • Additional photographs
  • Other photography services offered by Snapsbyleigha, where agreed in advance

Gift cards have a monetary value equal to the amount originally paid for the gift card.

Gift cards do not guarantee a particular date, session or seasonal booking. All bookings are subject to availability.

Using your gift card towards a package

If the package or session you choose costs more than the value of your gift card, you can use the gift card towards the booking and pay the remaining balance separately.

For example, if you have a £100 gift card and choose a £129 package, the gift card will cover £100 and the remaining £29 will need to be paid separately.

If the package or session costs less than the value of your gift card, the remaining balance cannot be exchanged for cash.

Where applicable, any remaining balance may be used towards additional photographs from the same booking.

Any remaining gift card balance cannot be transferred towards a separate future package or session.

Expiry

Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless a different expiry date is clearly stated on the gift card.

The expiry date will be provided to the purchaser and/or displayed on the gift card.

Once a gift card has expired, it cannot normally be redeemed unless an extension has been agreed with Snapsbyleigha in advance.

Refunds & exchanges

Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or another gift card.

Gift cards are non-refundable once any applicable statutory cancellation period has expired, or once the gift card has been redeemed, subject always to your statutory consumer rights.

Nothing in these terms affects any rights you may have under UK consumer law.

Purchasing a gift card online

Where a gift card is purchased online, statutory cancellation rights may apply.

If you wish to cancel an online gift card purchase, please contact Snapsbyleigha as soon as possible and within the applicable cancellation period.

Where a statutory right to cancel applies, any refund will be handled in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

If a gift card has already been redeemed or a photography service has already begun at the customer's request, different rules may apply.

Booking & availability

Gift cards do not guarantee availability for any particular date.

All bookings are subject to Snapsbyleigha's availability at the time of booking.

Seasonal and limited-edition sessions are subject to the availability and booking dates advertised for that particular session.

A gift card does not secure a booking until the booking has been confirmed by Snapsbyleigha.

Deposits & additional payments

Where a booking requires a deposit or additional payment, this will be explained at the time of booking.

Your gift card can be used towards the agreed package price, but any amount not covered by the gift card must be paid separately in accordance with the booking terms.

Cancellations & rescheduling

All bookings made using a gift card are subject to Snapsbyleigha's standard photography booking terms and conditions.

If you need to cancel or rearrange your session, the usual cancellation and rescheduling policy will apply.

Cancelling or failing to attend a session does not automatically extend the expiry date of a gift card.

Where Snapsbyleigha needs to rearrange a session, an alternative date will be offered where possible.

Lost or damaged gift cards

Please keep your gift card safe.

If a gift card is lost, stolen or damaged, please contact Snapsbyleigha as soon as possible.

A replacement may be issued where the gift card can be verified against our records, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Gift cards won through giveaways, raffles & competitions

Gift cards won through a giveaway, raffle or competition may be subject to additional terms set by the organisation running the giveaway, raffle or competition.

Prize gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or another prize.

When redeeming a prize gift card, please provide the name of the organisation, business or event through which the gift card was won so that the prize can be verified.

Unless otherwise stated, prize gift cards are subject to the same booking availability, expiry and photography booking terms as purchased gift cards.

Other important information

  • Gift cards cannot be combined with other discounts, promotional codes or offers unless specifically agreed by Snapsbyleigha.
  • Gift cards cannot be used to pay for travel expenses or additional charges unless agreed in advance.
  • Gift cards are not a guarantee of availability for any particular photography package, mini session or seasonal session.
  • Gift cards may only be redeemed once their validity and value have been verified.
  • Snapsbyleigha may refuse redemption where a gift card cannot be verified as genuine, valid or unexpired.
  • Gift cards cannot be resold for profit.
  • These terms may be updated from time to time, but any changes will not affect gift cards already purchased where doing so would unfairly disadvantage the customer.

Statutory rights

Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit, exclude or remove any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law.

By purchasing or redeeming a Snapsbyleigha gift card, you agree to these terms and conditions..
